eir achieves Third Recertification for Business Working Responsibly Mark
eir, Ireland’s largest telecommunications provider, has once again demonstrated its commitment to responsible business practices by achieving recertification for the prestigious Business Working Responsibly Mark. The Mark, awarded by Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI), is widely regarded as Ireland’s foremost accreditation for responsible business practices, and it is verified through an independent audit by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
This is the third consecutive occasion that eir has successfully obtained the certification as eir has consistently exemplified its dedication to responsible and sustainable operations. eir was also the first telecommunications company in Ireland to receive this prestigious Mark.

Acquiring Version 5 (V5) of the Business Working Responsibly Mark is a rigorous process that involves a comprehensive and independent audit conducted by the National Standards Authority of Ireland. The audit brought together teams and senior management from across eir’s business, and they successfully demonstrated the robustness of the company’s Environmental, Economic, Social, and Governance (EESG) management systems, achievements, and future plans. The Mark serves as a framework for businesses to establish and continuously improve the management systems that underpin the EESG aspects of their organisation, fostering excellence in sustainability.
