Equality In Education: An Opportunity to Succeed

In September, BITCI were delighted to host an Elevate Pledge Knowledge Session webinar on the topic of ‘Education Partnerships to Support Diversity & Inclusion Strategy.’ During the webinar, we heard from businesses who have partnered with schools in their local communities to support educational inclusion. Member companies shared the impact that they have seen on the lives of children in DEIS schools across the country. 

We also heard from Irene Connor, Principal, Scoil Cholmcille Junior in Ballybrack, Co. Dublin. Irene shared the journey of the wonderful ten-year partnership that her school has had with Aviva and the life-changing opportunities Time to Read has afforded the children in her school over the past decade.
