Call for Entries for Chambers CSR Awards

Tuesday, 6th March 2012: The 2012 CSR awards were launched by Joan Freeman, CEO and Founder, Pieta House on 6th March at 11am in The Gibson Hotel, Point Village, Dublin 1. The nomination process is now open and applications will be accepted until 12pm Thursday 3rd May 2012.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

• Excellence in Community – Partnership with Charity
• Excellence in Community – Volunteering
• Excellence in Community – Community Programme
• Excellence in Environment
• Excellence in Marketplace
• Excellence in Workplace
• Excellence in CSR Communication
• Excellence in International CSR
• Excellence in CSR by an SME

Chambers Ireland’s Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2012 will take place on 27th September in The Burlington Hotel, Dublin.

The Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility Awards were established in 2004 to recognise the work being carried out by Irish and multinational companies to improve the lives of their employees and to enhance the civic environment in which they operate. This is a unique competition that offers the business community a chance to promote their efforts in CSR and gain recognition for best practice. The awards are presented in a variety of categories covering all areas of CSR.
