Developing CSR: The Challenges and Opportunities

BITCI News - Jan 29, 2019

Technological University Dublin will be hosting an event to bring academics and practitioners of CSR together to discuss and debate current issues in relation to the development of CSR going forward. The first half of this afternoon session will commence with a talk by two academics, followed by a member of the CSR National Stakeholder Forum, driving the National CSR plan at a National level in Ireland and then two practitioners will tell their CSR story. The programme will then involve breakout sessions of groups of approximately six participants representing academia and industry to discuss different core questions in the development of CSR. The session will end with a general discussion on the outputs of the smaller groups and will open up new areas of debate and networks perhaps to develop these discussions further, with inputs from academics and industry participants.
