BITCI accepted as a Global Partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development
We’re delighted to announce that our organisation has been accepted as a Global Partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. This partnership will help us maintain our proactive leadership position on CSR and to keep our members ahead of the curve.
As you may know the World Business Council is a CEO-led organisation of forward-thinking companies that galvanizes the global business community to create a sustainable future for business, society and the environment. As a member of the Global Network we demonstrate your commitment to provide business leadership for sustainable development in Ireland.
We are joining over 65 Global partners from 64 countries providing a new platform to showcase how Irish businesses are adopting and responding to the new realities of business. Through the WBCSD, we will engage with and contribute to leading international thinking on CSR, and bring to you one of the most innovative collaborative CSR platforms available at an international level because for many of our members that is their focus.
The new partnership, combined with our on-going work with CSR Europe, reflects the maturity of CSR within the Irish market to date.
