Member CEOs Networking Event
The special annual event for the CEOs of our member companies took place on Wednesday June 18th. Our network dedicated to supporting responsible businesses has been growing steadily since our founding in 2000 and this event brought the CEOs of Ireland’s largest companies, together for a private annual networking event.
CEOs heard keynote addresses from Julian Yarr, Managing Partner, A&L Goodbody on their CSR journey and Noel Morrin, Senior VP Sustainability, Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction groups told their business story about how their best in class sustainability practices are setting them apart.
At the event we welcomed the latest companies to join our network and were presented with the Business in the Community Member Charter : Arup,Barclays Ireland, Northern Trust, Compass Catering, BaxterStorey, Standard Life and Tesco.
At the event we also took the opportunity to acknowledge and thank the member companies that have been in the network for over 10 years with a tree certificate, the member companies are: AIB, Bank of Ireland Group, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland, Coca-Cola Ireland, Coillte, Danske Bank, Diageo Ireland, eircom, ESB Electricity Supply Board, Glanbia plc, IBM, Intel , Irish Life Group Ltd., Johnson & Johnson (Ireland), KPMG, Marks & Spencer (Ireland) Ltd, Microsoft Ireland, Penneys, Telefónica O2 Ireland and Vodafone.
CEOs had also the opportunity to hear first-hand the positive impact their participation in our social and education inclusion programmes has by hearing from a Ready for Work client and from Anne Stapleton, mother of a Time to Read pupil who was matched with our member Irish Life.
