We are pleased to announce a new addition to our Membership Services Team with
Lorraine FitzGerald joining as Corporate Responsibility Consultant.
Lorraine joined us in November and will be focusing on environment issues. Lorraine brings over 11 years’ experience from the environmental communications and knowledge exchange areas both in Ireland and Scotland. With a scientific grounding she has raised awareness of complex issues including climate change, waste, energy and biodiversity as part of influential national campaigns and programmes.
Most recently she worked in Scotland on Adaptation Scotland, a national programme funded by Scottish Government where she was responsible for the development and management of the private sector work programme; building capacity among Scotland’s businesses to enable effective climate change adaptation.
Prior to this she worked for RPS in Ireland and was central to the development of some of the most high profile environmental awareness campaigns such as CHANGE, the national awareness and communication campaign on climate change, Notice Nature, the national awareness campaign on biodiversity and the award winning Race Against Waste campaign.
Lorraine has a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from NUI, Galway and a M.Sc. in Sustainable Development from DIT, Bolton Street.
