The Business in the Community Ireland annual CEO forum is a high level breakfast event where CEOs of top companies gather to discuss key trends in sustainability and how companies can transform to sustainable business models.

Last October 140 CEOs gathered to discuss sustainability issues and this year was our biggest forum yet. This high profile event  featured top keynote speakers, John Barry, Managing Director of Bord Gais Networks, Myles Lee, Chief Executive Officer of CRH and Professor Peter Head, Executive Chair of The Ecological Sequestration Trust.

This was our fifth annual CEO Forum, previously we have examined how new thinking and new business models are required to sustain a corporate culture of responsibility, accountability, and long-term vision. At this year’s high level networking event, we heard how two major companies in Ireland have put sustainability at the heart of their strategic planning process and also heard about new models of business performance.
