Business Working Responsibly Mark

The Business Working Responsibly mark is the only independently audited standard for CSR and Sustainability in Ireland. The Mark is audited by the NSAI and based on ISO26000. It is open to both members and non-members of Business in the Community Ireland. Once achieved, it is valid for 3 years.

Some of the top companies in Ireland have the Mark, from Accenture to Vodafone Ireland, read about how these leading businesses have benefited from achieving the Mark.

Comprising a self-assessment questionnaire whose responses are independently verified by the NSAI, the Mark provides a root to branch review of the organisation. The Mark will assess and certify your corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability looking at leadership, policies, practices, performance, and impact across:

  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Employee Engagement
  • Customer Service
  • Innovation
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Environmental Practices
  • CSR Governance and Communications

The Mark is updated on a regular basis so that it keeps in line with changes in best practice in CSR. Independently audited by the NSAI and based on ISO 26000, when achieved the Mark is valid for three years.

The benefits of the Mark include improved employer brand, support for your tendering credentials and investor relations and profile as an organisation that is integrating CSR into its practices.
