Employee volunteering programmes targeting unemployment

Ebay-and-Epic

People want to live and work in a fair and just society. Employees value working for companies who want to make an impact on key societal issues. By joining the network and accessing our Employment programmes, companies can demonstrate a clear commitment to impacting diversity, integration and social inclusion.

Business can avail of a number of employee engagement programmes targeting diversity and inclusion and supporting refugees & asylum seekers, people with health issues and disabilities and members of the Traveller community.

Below is a snapshot of the range of opportunities available:

Business volunteers can provide mock interviews, CV writing, telephone skills training and more to help our clients get ready for the job market.

Providing work experience is hugely beneficial as it increases confidence, adds new experience to a CV and provides a recent employer reference. We can provide a wide range of work experience opportunities in your company and work with business volunteers on acting as a mentor and coach to our clients which increase professional skills on both sides.

Businesses can provide in depth workshops on their sector e.g. customer service skills or retail. We work closely with companies to craft workshops which will help create a pipeline of talent.

Members including Accenture, Boots, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, KPMG, Marks & Spencer, Oracle, Transdev and Workday have all participated in Business Action on Employment. BT and CPL have provided dedicated IT and mock interview support since 2008.
