Tools for Schools: IBM launches Open P-TECH in Ireland

Open P-TECH is a free digital education platform aimed at students and focused on workplace learning and digital skills. It offers high-quality digital learning, including professional skills, mindfulness, sustainability, design thinking and technical learning in areas including AI, cybersecurity, cloud and more – all designed for students aged 14 to 20. Students can earn industry recognised digital badges/credentials approved by IBM and partner organisations.
You can access Open P-TECH as an individual or use it for your school as a teacher. Teacher Toolkits are also provided which include lesson plans, worksheets and additional resources to bring to life the online content in the classroom. All content is mapped, in partnership with the National Centre for Guidance in Education (NCGE), to Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle Skills and Whole School Guidance Framework.
