We have complied a list of some great online childhood literacy resources.

Also it’s good to note that according to the Government roadmap to easing COVID-19 restrictions, the Government is to begin reopening public libraries in Phase 2 beginning on June 8th.

 

  • Dublin City Libraries are hosting storytime sessions on their Facebook page here.

 

  • Dubray Books Festival are featuring authors reading their stories on their Youtube channel here.

 

  • KPMG’s Reading Heroes challenge is giving prizes to children reading at home. More info here.

 

  • Childrens Books Ireland have their fun ‘ImagineNation’ activity sheets available online here.

  • RTÉ home schooling also covers literacy skills on their weekday mornings show and also have online resources.
