What is your favourite part of the programme?

As a teacher my favourite part was the site visit. Seeing first hand the world of work and the realities of a working environment really opened their eyes and had a positive impact on classroom behaviour. Following this I have also seen an increased enthusiasm and interest in “school” and “getting a job”.

How long have you been involved?

Approximately 5 years.

Which part of the programme is the most fun for you?

Organising the wrap up celebration.

What is the biggest challenge?

Organising the wrap up celebration!

If I could tell all the students in the programme one thing what would it be?

Realise how fortunate you are as a student to have been given this opportunity. Approach every part of the programme with an open mind and inquisitive nature, ask loads of questions and enjoy the experience.

My hope for the future of the programme is…..

Who is your hero and why?

My parents and students as they’ve made me who I am!
