Ronan Murphy is the former Senior Partner of PwC Ireland, a position he held from 2007 to 2015. He was also a member of the PwC EMEA Leadership Board for a five year period from 2010 to 2015. He was appointed as Partner in Charge of the PwC Assurance Practice in 2003, a position he held for four years prior to his election as Senior Partner. As an Assurance Partner in PwC from 1992, he worked with clients mainly in the Technology and Financial Services sectors. Ronan is currently a non-executive director of J&E Davy and ICON plc. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School and is a member of the Council of the ESRI. He is a founding Board member of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce. Ronan completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Studies at University College Dublin before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 1982.
Ronan joined the board of Business in the Community Ireland in 2017
