George O’Connor

Vice President of Sales and Business Development Europe, Enterprise Holdings

George O’Connor is the Vice President of Sales and Business Development Europe, Enterprise Holdings, which operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car brands. He is a graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and started his career with Enterprise Holdings as a graduate on Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Management Trainee Programme in Boston in the 1990s. In 1997 George returned from the US to open the Enterprise Rent-A-Car business in Ireland.St. Louis-based Enterprise Holdings, the largest car rental service provider in the world, has more than 9,000 fully staffed branches worldwide. Most recently it has rapidly expanded its branded operations at airports and transport hubs throughout territories across the globe and now operates in over 70 countries.Under George’s leadership, Enterprise’s commitment to service and value, business and commercial offerings continue to see the business grow in Ireland with 25 locations nationwide and more than 200 employees.
