Caitríona MacAonghusa

Head of Employment Programmes

Caitríona joined BITCI in 2009, working on building social integration and inclusion by supporting people into employment.  Caitríona and her team deliver tailored employment programmes for asylum seekers, refugees, people with disabilities, women returners and Travellers.  Strategic partnerships with businesses are a critical element to the success of the Employment Programmes, providing job opportunities and skills sharing. Developing this area is an important focus of Caitríona’s work.

Prior to joining BITCI, Caitríona had twenty years’ experience in the IT sector in management and senior management roles in Oracle, IBM and Lotus Development. She has a degree in Sociology and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin.
