Caitríona joined BITCI as co-ordinator for the EPIC programme in 2009. EPIC supports migrants to find employment and integrate in Ireland. While continuing as EPIC co-ordinator throughout, she has also worked as a CSR advisor in our Member Services team and as a co-ordinator linking schools and businesses as part of our Business Action on Education team. Caitríona is focussed on increasing the impact businesses can have on employment for marginalised people, through a new programme for refugees (RISE) and by developing business led partnerships to support unemployed people.
Prior to joining BITCI, Caitríona had twenty years’ experience in the IT sector in management and senior management roles in Oracle, IBM and Lotus Development working with global teams on development, quality and localisation. She has a degree in Sociology and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin.
