Business in the Community

Three Ireland is pleased to announce its partnership with St. Joseph’s CBS in Fairview through The Schools Business Partnership programme. Already 24 employees have volunteered to deliver the Skills @ Work programme between January and March 2015. With three of the four sessions completed, the 36 students will now visit the Three offices on Sir John Rogerson’s quay in March for their Mock Interviews. Before this they visited the office for a tour of the building and our volunteers have been out to the school to give them advice on their CVs, interview skills and the various education and
career options available to them.

Jill Johnston, CSR Manager, Three Ireland:

We are delighted to work with St. Joseph’s CBS and to be involved in the Skills @ Work programme. At Three we believe in giving back to the community and our employees told us they want to give back using their skills and experience. Schools Business Partnership is the perfect way to facilitate this and we look forward to working with St. Joseph’s to grow and develop the partnership.”

Gerry Cullen, Principal, St. Joseph’s CBS:

“St. Joseph’s CBS is delighted to be involved with Three through the Schools Business Partnership.  The whole school community values this link and our students in particular look forward to enhancing their education through their participation in the Skills @ Work programme.  The programme helps them see more clearly the link between education and business and the world of opportunity that exists when they move on from us.  We hope that this link grows and strengthens in the future.”
