PwC’s People Giving Scheme
PwC’s people have helped three Irish charities through the firm’s “People Giving Scheme”. Irish Cancer Society, National Burns Unit of St James’ Hospital and St Vincent de Paul were the three charities chosen by PwC staff for the year 2013. The scheme provides them with an easy forum through which to make donations to the charities of their choice, and fundraising events for each of the charities were held during 2013 to supplement money raised and inform people of the work of each charity. Over €47,000 was raised for the charities and almost €400,000 has been raised since the scheme launched in 2007.
