HSE Day 2014 at Bord Gáis Networks
On 6th June HSE Day takes place at Bord Gáis Networks promoting and supporting a healthy, safe and more environmentally friendly workplace and lifestyle. An engaging and informative programme of activity, with fun in the mix, is delivered for staff on the day. Key events include workshops, talks and information stands on minding our mental health, promoting responsible use of the outdoors, reducing food waste at home and being more energy efficient. Highlighting that Safety is our priority at Bord Gáis Networks, staff will have the opportunity to participate in a session with a guest sharing his personal story of a workplace accident with tragic consequences. Free bike services will also be on offer along with the chance to win a weekend break at luxury BIO hotel, BrookLodge and Macreddin Village, Co. Wicklow. Children and young relatives of staff also have the chance to participate through our exciting CREATE competition inviting ‘young works of art’ reflecting health, safety and environmental best practice in everyday life! HSE Day is an annual event at Bord Gáis Networks promoting that ‘we all have a part to play’ in being more responsible and proactive on safety, health and environmental issues.
