On May 22nd the Business Impact Celebration will showcase Ireland’s only interactive Business Impact Map which will be hosted by A&L Goodbody. This unique interactive online map highlights the impact companies such as ESB, Intel, Diageo, Musgraves, MSD, BT, Ulster Bank and many others are having in communities all over Ireland in addressing social issues and causes in their communities.

mapThe Business Impact Map highlights the initiatives that add significant value to Irish society but often go un-recognised by conveying the scale and variety of the support businesses provide to communities across Ireland.

Did you know that last year, our map demonstrated that over 46 of our member companies contributed €21.3million to groups around the country with employees volunteering 139,000 hours of their time. These are just some of the excellent statistics that the Business Impact Map provides conveying how businesses are successfully working with groups all over Ireland to ensure key issues such as youth employment, education and health are being addressed.

The celebration will feature guest speakers: Julian Yarr, Managing Partner of A&L Goodbody, Sam McGuinness CEO Dublin Simon Community, Sonya Lennon, fashion designer & founder of Dress for Success. Our speakers will discuss business impact & key challenges on three specific and strategic themes: Homelessness; Employment and Education.
