Supporting communities where AIB live and work
We have a long tradition of supporting our communities across the country, which is why we’ve committed to funding over €2.4 million to help accelerate Ireland’s effort to develop a vaccine through the launch of the new AIB COVID19 Research Laboratory Hub at Trinity College Dublin.
In addition to this and as part of the AIB Together programme we have implemented further initiatives to support those most in need right now:
Our colleagues are endeavouring to raise €1m for charities, including FoodCloud, SOAR Foundation, Pieta House and ALONE, with every cent raised to be matched by AIB:

We have provided €200k to support local communities nationwide within our branch network.
Trinity and AIB are partnering through the Tech2Students initiative to allow 450 laptop devices to be delivered to second level students who cannot attend school due to the COVID 19 crisis. Find out more.
