The Standard Life REstart Programme is back!

The REstart programme is a collaboration between Standard Life and Business in the Community Ireland to support Returners to the workforce. The programme is fully funded by Standard Life and is free and open to people aged between 35 and 67 who have been out of the workforce for two years or more, have a Leaving Cert or equivalent FETAC/QQI Level 5 and want to get back into employment.

You do not need to be receiving a social welfare payment to participate.

It is specially designed to help you build confidence and prepare for job searching and interview. Aims of the programme are to:

  • rebuild confidence, motivation and resilience
  • identify skills, achievements and personal strengths for the workplace
  • develop a top quality CV, LinkedIn profile and sample cover letter
  • learn about job applications, networking and interview preparation
  • attend a mock interview
  • provide individual support through coaching

The REstart programme will start in mid-April at Standard Life’s offices in St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2. The course is two days per week (10am-4pm) for five weeks. There are 8 places available in the programme which will be allocated to eligible participants on a first come first served basis.

Please email Mary at mroche@bitc.ie with your CV and a note on why you would like to attend the programme or call Caitríona on 01 8743840 for details and to book a place at our REstart Information Session on Tuesday 20th March.
