IBM’s Corporate Service Corps in Chile

dkennedyibmIBM’s Corporate Service Corps was launched in 2008 to help provide IBMers with high quality leadership development while delivering high quality problem solving for communities and organizations in emerging markets. In a competitive application cycle, top talent employees are selected to participate in this 6-month philanthropic programme which includes one month on the ground in an emerging market for teams of eight to 15 IBMers performing community-driven economic development projects working at the intersection of business, technology, and society.  IBM Ireland’s Corporate Citizenship Manager, Deirdre Kennedy recently participated in a team of 12 global IBMers in Puerto Montt, Chile.
