Feargal O’Rourke Managing Partner of PwC talks about the benefits of going for and achieving the Business Working Responsibly mark. The only independently audited standard for CSR and Sustainability in Ireland.
The Mark assesses best in class corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability and looks at leadership, policies, practices, performance, and impact in areas such as; employee engagement, innovation, environmental practices, supply chain management and engagement with the local community.
On receiving the Mark, Feargal O’Rourke, Managing Partner, PwC Ireland, said: “Supporting the communities in which we operate is important for PwC. Receiving the BITC ‘Business Working Responsible Mark’ is recognition of the collective effort of all of our people who play a role in this area and we are delighted to receive it.”
