EPIC Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation ceremony of EPIC clients with Minister O’Riordain took place on May 19th in the House of Lords, Bank of Ireland. EPIC clients gathered to receive their graduation certificates.

Diana Albanas(Romania), Miriam Burungi Omoro (Uganda), Yoselin Silva (Venezuela) and Christine Akullu Omodo (Uganda).

With Hugh McCallum from Accenture as a guest speaker, the audience heard about the impact of the EPIC programme and how businesses are working together to help people get back into work. Two former clients, Miriam Birungi Omoro from Uganda and Diana Arbanas from Romania spoke powerfully about the impact of the EPIC programme on their lives. Aodhan O’Riordain, Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality gave a moving speech about the importance of a diverse society and how Ireland needs EPIC graduates to make a better society.

Minister O’Riordain has special responsibility for New Communities, Culture, Equality and Drugs Strategy.
