BITCI partners with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic partnership with Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

SEAI - RGB (72dpi)extra space (2)Given our common vision to drive ‘Best in Class’ business practices in the area of sustainability, we have agreed to work together strategically to progress sustainable business practice in Ireland and will work effectively to ensure that members and service users enjoy excellent service comprising consistent advice and joined-up messages.
This partnership will facilitate businesses further understanding the connection between sustainable energy, savings opportunities and the bigger picture of corporate responsibility. Both organisations make a commitment to work together to align messaging and advice around sustainability where appropriate.

This strategic partnership between the two organisations may include activities such as:
• Events;
• Promotion of service offerings and relevant news through our various communication channels;
• Referrals, whereby Business in the Community Ireland members that require specific energy advice are referred directly to SEAI, thereby strengthening the connection between corporate responsibility and sustainable energy;
• Joint Initiatives; and
• Knowledge Exchange.

Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s mission is to play a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices. It delivers a range of programmes to business and public sector partners to encourage and support them to develop and adopt sustainable energy practices, placing particular emphasis on energy efficiency first.
