4th October Migrant Expo and Job Fair in Dublin

Business in the Community Ireland is collaborating with New Communities Partnership in the first edition of Migrant Expo and Job Fair, a space created to bring together migrants with businesses, recruiters and other organisations.

This is an opportunity for leading Irish businesses to meet with multilingual skilled professionals from different backgrounds and introduce more diversity in their workforce. It also provides them with a space to present their company and values as well as delivering workshops on interview tips or how to create an online profile to improve the jobseeking skills for future candidates.

The businesses, recruitment agencies and organisations participating with us in this event are Enterprise-Rent-a-Car, Tifco, Citi, Origin Multilingual, Sigmar, PE Global, Inner City Enterprise, Dublin Volunteer Centre, QQI, Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and Public Jobs.

The attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Irish job market and the different roles available in their sectors, as well as having the possibility to expand their professional network. They will also learn about the job seeking process in Ireland and how to write CVs and cover letters according to Irish standards.

Business in the Community Ireland is an organization that focuses on harnessing the power of Irish business to maximise its positive impact on all its stakeholders. Our organisation works with hundreds of companies encouraging diversity and inclusion focusing on key issues such as education and employment. Through the EPIC Programme, a pre-employment programme for immigrants, it provides its participants with tools to gain employment or access education and training in order to achieve their economic independence and promote their integration in Ireland.

This programme is co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014-2020.
