A&L Goodbodytoday are hosting a seminar to over 100 non-profit organisations on Governance at their offices on North Wall Quay. Paul White Chairman and Partner A&L Goodbody is the keynote speaker with Kevin Prendergast the Head of Advocacy and Assessment in the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement, a member of the panel of speakers.

As part of World Food Day, Kellogg’s employees are volunteering to support their charity partner Crosscare. Senior management are spending a morning at their community food bank distribution centres in Portland Row and Holles Row and will serve breakfasts and lunch to local people. Staff will be doing food  collections for CrossCare in their sites in Santry and Swords and for every item of food donated, Kelloggs will contribute €1.

Accenture will give an update on their Skills to Succeed programme and will be communicating to staff about Volunteering Opportunities.

Bord Gáis Networks are showcasing their Community Impact Map in their offices in Cork and Dublin.

The Intel Leixlip campus will play host to Steve Humble a.k.a. Dr. Math’s who has been active through the IMA (Institute of Math’s and its Applications) in popularizing mathematics. Over 1000 1st and 2nd year secondary school students will visit the campus to enjoy one of Dr. Math’s Mathematical Magic Shows in line with Intel’s STEM (Science, Technology, Education and Mathematics) education initiatives.

PwC are hosting a lunchtime talk on cancer prevention and detection for women

Ulster Bank will host the Business in the Community Ireland Financial Education Working Group following on from the Symposium held during the launch of the Business Impact Map.
