Leaders’ Roundtable

The Leaders’ Roundtable on Responsible and Sustainable Business is exclusively for companies who have achieved the Business Working Responsibly Mark. 


As a leader in responsible and sustainable business, this series of roundtable discussions for CEOs is designed to inspire, engage and provoke debate and conversation around the future opportunities and challenges facing businesses in Ireland with a view to identifying collective response and action. From the changing dynamics in the workforce to climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals, a variety of areas will be explored by this exclusive group. The design of the Roundtable Series is informed by challenges and opportunities identified by analysis of the Business Working Responsible Mark.


Each year there will be approximately four Leader Roundtables with visiting experts and thought leaders as well as ongoing exchanges and collaborative action. Below is a snapshot of the series for 2017:

2016 was an important year in terms of identifying and defining the scope of strategic areas of common challenge for BITCI Leader companies. These included (i) workplace, (ii) transitioning to a low carbon economy, and (iii) social cohesiveness.

The Leaders Roundtable held on January 19th, 2017 was a critical meeting in which Leader companies agreed on priorities of concern and defined an action plan for 2017.
