Business Insights: Munster Members’ Meeting & Workshops

The Business Insights: Munster Members’ Meeting takes place on Thursday 27th September and includes two Members’ workshops.



Workshop 1:  Biodiversity & Community Engagement   [10.15 – 11.45am];
‘How your business and employees can support nature through community engagement to achieve sustainability goals’

The workshop will include a wide range of insights from biodiversity specialists, member companies and two NGO’s on developing projects tailored to improving and educating communities on the importance of biodiversity.

Guest speakers include Karen O’Donohoe from GIY (Grow it Yourself) and Maura Lyons from Leave No Trace.

Workshop 2:  The Sustainable Devepopment Goals   [12.00 – 1.00pm];
‘Aligning your business with the Sustainable Development Goals’

Launched in September 2015, the UN adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), a set of 17 goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.

This interactive workshop will start the conversation on the opportunities that the SDGs present; outlining what is happening on an international scale and helping attendees to understand how to apply the SDGs to their business strategy.
