Cork Information Session on Business Working Responsibly Mark May 10th

May 10, 2012

Title: Munster Network Meeting/Information Session on Business Working Responsible Mark

The Business Working Responsibly Mark is Ireland’s only certification for responsible and sustainable business practices. CRH Ireland, ESB, Intel Ireland and Microsoft Ireland achieved the Mark in 2011 and several other companies are using the process to identify gaps in their responsible and sustainable practices.

Any company that achieves the Mark in the first half of 2012 will be recognised at the Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) annual CEO Forum in October so BITCI is offering a free one hour introduction to the Business Working Responsibly Mark in Cork on Thursday 10th May 2012. Attendees are asked to arrive from 9.15am with a 9.30am start. The session will close at 10.30am.

There will be a separate session in Dublin on April 25th. Please contact us if you or colleagues are interested in further information.

This information session will be of value to any company interested in:

  • understanding more about the Mark
  • completing the Business Working Responsibly Mark questionnaire only for internal assessment and a gap analysis of its responsible and sustainable business practices
  • achieving the Business Working Responsibly Mark by completing and passing both the Business Working Responsibly Mark questionnaire and audit.

The event will be relevant to executives who manage all or part of a company’s responsible and sustainable practices such as: corporate responsibility managers as well as managers with responsibility for human resources, customer relations, procurement, environment / facilities or quality.

Attendance is free and open to several executives from the same organisation. However, places are limited. To reserve your place please contact Leah Naughton on by May 4th.
