Low Carbon Pledge Knowledge Session #2

The Low Carbon Pledge has had a great year so far. Having over 60 Signatory Members, we are well on track to supporting Irish Business’ transition to the Low Carbon Economy. Setting ambitious Climate Targets (SBTs) will challenge each and every one of us, no matter what sector we operate in. To achieve these targets, it will require business to consistently work on developing and improving their current Climate Action Roadmaps, as we develop new ways of working, explore new technologies, and delve into new conversations and partnerships.

Are we prepared to adapt and move in this very uncertain future? How resilient is your business to the changes ahead? These are the questions we need to ask ourselves. A well-thought-out Climate Action Roadmap will go a long way to supporting this transition and ensuring that mitigation, as well as adaptation to the impact of climate, is being considered in all areas of your business operation.

The 2nd Low Carbon Knowledge Session of 2021, ‘Developing my Climate Roadmap’, will take place on Tuesday, 18th of May from 11am to 12 noon.

During this session we will hear from two of our member companies who are at very different stages of developing their Climate Action Roadmaps, as well as facing very different challenges in their journey to decarbonise their operations.
