Upcoming Event – May 23rd: Irelands First Ever Pop Up Orchard to launch the Business Impact Map

BITCI News -

May 23, 2012

We are proud to launch the 2012 version of the unique Business Impact Map; Ireland’s only interactive online map which highlights thousands of business & community connections around the country representing multi-million euros of support. We are also delighted to have over 40 of our member companies represented on the map demonstrating their support for their local communities.

At the breakfast in State Street, the Map will be unveiled to a record number of attendees and we will hear from keynote speakers Tina Roche, CEO Business in the Community Ireland and Mark McNulty, Head of Institutional and Intermediary Clients, State Street Global Advisors. It will also be a unique opportunity to network with major businesses and hear about best practice in community engagement.

After this breakfast celebration, in order to build awareness of the map and the impact that business has in our community, Business in the Community Ireland is bringing together the community and business spirit in a very unique way – by creating Ireland’s First Ever Pop Up Orchard in the heart of the business district in Grand Canal Dock. The Maldron hotel and BITCI member PepsiCo have very kindly come on board to provide refreshements for our employee volunteers before and after the orchard build so it’s shaping up to be a really unique and exciting morning.

The event is open to members and non-members and attendance is by RSVP only. Come down and join us on the day, we’d love to see you.
