Embedding Sustainability in your Business Business Working Responsibly mark announcement

Feb 17, 2022

VENUE: Virtual Event

TIME: 11:00am - 12:00 noon

The Business Working Responsibly mark is the leading independently audited standard for CSR and Sustainability certification in Ireland. For more than a decade it has been at the forefront of the sustainability agenda, and it continues to drive meaningful and transformative change in companies who apply its principles.

The last two years have brought about significant social and environmental change in the world and for Industry as a whole. Leading companies are managing this change by viewing it as an opportunity to embed purpose, values & sustainability more deeply into their business systems and culture.

At this event, we will be announcing the companies to be recertified to the Mark and welcoming the new companies who have achieved it. Our CEO, Tomás Sercovich will outline emerging trends in the post-pandemic corporate landscape, including impacts of the Climate Crisis, Covid-19, and upcoming Irish & European legislation.

We will hear from three industry experts, who will outline how the Mark has supported them on driving sustainability in their business. Finally, we will unveil information about the latest version of the Mark, V5 and what to expect.

Featuring a special address by Robert Troy T.D, Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation, along with confirmed speakers including:

  • Bethany Fiore, Responsible Business Manager, William Fry
  • Noeleen Warren, Senior EHS Specialist, Alkermes Pharma Ireland
  • Priscilla O’Regan, Head of Communications, BT Ireland
