TIME: 10am - 12 noon

Business in the Community Ireland

The launch of our latest Business Impact Map which showcases the outcomes of the engagement of some of Ireland’s top companies with their local communities will take place on the 28th of March at the Light House Cinema.

The event is sponsored by Fujitsu.

For over 7 years, Business in the Community Ireland has been analysing the scale of the engagement of businesses in Ireland with local communities. The Business Impact Map is a reference tool to understand how business engages at the local level and how these activities underpin their business objectives.

Behind the headline statistics of 2018, which will be revealed at the event, we will feature two exciting panel discussions which will highlight cutting-edge business-led programmes which engage and attract employees as well as examining future trends in how businesses can collaboratively impact on society as well as contribute to the achievement at the local level on the Sustainable Development Goals.

The event will open with keynote addresses from Seán Canney TD, Minister of State for Community Development, Natural Resources and Digital Development, Tomás Sercovich, CEO, Business in the Community Ireland and Tony O’Malley, CEO, Fujitsu Ireland.

We are delighted to announce the following speaker line-up for the event.

  • Adam Harris, CEO, AsIAm
  • Audrey Nolan, Head of CSR, Bank of Ireland
  • Victor Jia, Participant from Business in the Community Ireland’s Employment Programmes
  • David O’Flynn, Group Head of CSR & Sustainability, Dawn Meats
  • Pat McCormack, Principal, St. Paul’s CBS Secondary School
