Verizon Media’s Community Engagement Policy

Building. It’s not just about brands for us. It’s about building a better world, too. We put those words into action by investing in women, future leaders, and underserved communities by inspiring our people, partners and audiences to join us. Let’s do something good together.

We encourage our team to give generously of their time and talents. Employees are entitled to three Paid Volunteering Days per year to serve the non-profit organizations they champion, engaging in activities ranging from mentoring students to building low-income housing, fundraising and more.

Verizon Media’s Impact in 2018

In 2018, to help us give back to the communities that we live and work in, Verizon Media partnered with 16 community organisations across Ireland, including St. Vincent de Paul, Special Olympics Ireland, Poppintree Youth Project and Inner City Helping Homeless. Through these community links, our employees gave 1,320 volunteer hours and fundraised €7,920, in addition to company support of €5,000 in cash donations and €1,200 worth of in-kind donations.
