Cook Medical is a leading MedTech company that designs minimally invasive technologies that reduce the need for open surgery for patients around the world. Since 1963 Cook Medical has worked closely with healthcare professionals to develop technologies that eliminate the need for open surgery. Today we are combining medical devices, biologic materials and cellular therapies to help the world’s healthcare systems deliver better outcomes more efficiently.

We have always remained family owned so that we have the freedom to focus on what we care about: patients, our employees and our communities. Employing over 850 people in Limerick, the company develops, manufactures and distributes medical devices to customers worldwide. Cook Medical celebrated 23 years in Ireland in 2019.

Cook Medical provided over €21,940 in cash donations; €6,740 was contributed through in-kind donations and over €22,280 was raised through employee fundraising. Employees also volunteered over 881 hours to local groups and projects during the year.
