Who we work with

We know that stakeholder engagement is crucial for any organisation and we work closely with all of our stakeholders on driving the sustainability agenda forward

Business in the Community Ireland work with the following:

Large Businesses – this is where we started. By working with the largest organisations in the country we have been driving our mission of making all companies in Ireland responsible and sustainable

Small to Medium Businesses – they are the backbone of this economy and in order to drive our mission, we now offer services to companies of all sizes in Ireland.

Business Associations – we cannot work in isolation so we partner with many other business networks to promote CSR and share best practice

Government Agencies – from our experience we know that governments must support CSR through policy and action so we have been central in the development of Ireland’s National Action Plan on CSR. In addition our Business Action Programmes are partially funded by government agencies so we work closely with them on sharing impacts of our work.

International Organisations – we are in a globally connected world so we always want to learn best practice from our counterparts but also share best in class operations from our member companies

Community and Voluntary Sector – we work with many of our members on how to engage their employees with local communities so have a wide network of community and voluntary contacts all over the country

Education Sector – our Business Action on Education programmes work with primary and post primary students, teachers and principals and leverage the power of businesses to make an impact on education. We also work closely with many third level institutions around Ireland.

Job Seekers and Referral Agencies – through our Business Action on Employment programmes, EPIC and Ready for Work, we help people to find jobs utilising the powerful reach of businesses to help with job preparation skills and work placements.
