The mentoring celebration was a very uplifting occasion. Sharing their experiences on mentoring: Molly Jo Brennan from Curragh PP, Kildare; Eoin Speight former student in Patrician College, Finglas and now working in the City of London; Joe O’ Reilly, Siemens and Breda Tanner, Diageo. Minister Richard Bruton reaffirmed his commitment to growing the engagement between the business and education sectors in Ireland. On the plenary panel Tina Roche, CEO, BITCI, Mary Jane Hyland, Cornmarket, Karina Howley, KPMG, James Galvin, Colaiste Chiarain, Croom, Co. Limerick, Kieran Golden, Principal, Mayfield CS, Cork and Brooklyn Hyland O’Keeffe, student, Athy CC, Co. Kildare discussed their perspectives on the positive aspects of the engagement.
