Congratulations to all our member who have won the Chambers CSR Awards and GLEN Workplace Awards
ESB won the Outstanding Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award at the 2016 Chambers Ireland CSR Awards. ESB was selected by the judging panel for having CSR practices embedded at the company’s core and for its ongoing dedication to community engagement and responsible business practices.
Our congratulations to ESB and to all the network companies who received category awards (Abbott Ireland, Bank of Ireland Group, Dawn Meats, Diageo Ireland, Microsoft Ireland, Oracle EMEA, and Three Ireland) and the many others who were shortlisted. A full report is here.
GLEN Workplace Equality Index Awards
Accenture won the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality and Leadership Award at GLEN’s Workplace Equality Index Awards 2016. Enterprise Rent-A-Car won the Best SME workplace award, other network companies amongst the top-10 included Microsoft, Eir, IBM and Sodexo. Dena Lawrence of Microsoft was named LGBT Role Model of the Year, and Alice Tolan of Eir was named Ally of the Year. Full details are here.
