Blue September is a campaign to promote awareness of men’s cancer by having fun with the colour blue whilst discussing a serious topic.
‘Blue Fridays’ are awareness days that seek to encourage cancer awareness @ work. They are simple “template” based CSR days, designed to enable companies to spread the message of men’s cancer awareness easily whilst fundraising for important patient services.
Bank of Ireland will host a Blue Friday morning awareness seminar at 9:30am-10.30am on Friday 28 September at their Burlington Plaza office.

Dr Galvin will be talking about the relevancy of men’s cancer in Ireland, how it is treated, the importance of what to look out for and how Blue September is helping improve patient care in Ireland
Philip Keenan – Prostate Cancer Survivor
Philip was diagnosed with Prostate cancer earlier this year and at 38 talks about the importance of awareness on the subject.
