Understanding the Political System: Presentation by Damien English, TD

Thursday June 21st 2012: Participation is a key indicator of social inclusion and the EU has indicated that participation of migrants in the democratic process suports their integration.

As part of the EPIC Programme, Damien English, TD for Meath West Constituency has provided a presentation about Understanding the Political system today in Business in the Community Ireland premises.

EPIC organises information sessions to increase understanding of the Irish system and promote social integration amongst migrants. Other information we provide includes employment rights and entitlements, social welfare to work, volunteering, and access to education and health.
