Business in the Community’s network for responsible business has over 70 members. Would you like to hear more about what other members are doing? What challenges have you in common and what solutions have others found?
We would like to invite our members to join this discussion at our third Member Network Meeting of 2014, hosted by Ulster Bank (and Munster Network meeting hosted by Bord Gáis Networks). The main focus of the meetings will be getting to know your network and finding out how to engage employees to be ambassadors for your CSR/Sustainability story.
One challenge we hear a lot is how to get employees at all levels and across all locations to understand the real meaning of CSR and what it means for their role and the organisation. We will explore some of these challenges and a panel from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, IBM and Ulster Bank will share some of the ways that they have effectively overcome some of these challenges. . We encourage our members to come along to meet peers and hear how some organisations are making their employees ambassadors for their CSR/Sustainability messages.
Please feel free to extend the invitation to the meeting to your colleagues in marketing, communications or corporate affairs.
At the meetings, we will also launch a publication entitled ‘Back To Work – Business Supporting Work Placements’ which profiles ten member company case studies. This will be disseminated through IBEC, Chambers Ireland and CSR Europe under the Enterprise 2020 initiative.
