Dublin Airport Authority will host our next Workshop on Sustainable Procurement in Bewley’s Hotel, Dublin Airport on Thursday, June 14. They will share with attendees the practical steps they have taken in the area of sustainable procurement and the benefits & successes of same.
In addition, a perspective on the development in the UK of the British Standard on Sustainable Procurement, the BS 8903; the CIPS Sustainable Procurement Review & the UK National Sustainable Procurement Programme will be provided by the New Economics Foundation.
This event will also feature an outline of the Greening the Supply Chain Programme being launched by Dun Laoghaire – Rathdown County Council to enable businesses to engage with suppliers to facilitate environmental certification and to develop a sustainable purchasing strategy.
