Over 80 students from across Ireland have participated in this year’s PwC Summer Internship Programme. This is an eight week programme that gives students the opportunity to gain a unique and in-depth insight into PwC. The internship not only allows students to gain a real life view of what a graduate career with PwC would be like but also participate in weekly business skills workshops, helping students gain imperative leadership skills.  As part of gaining a holistic view of life at PwC, the interns were involved in a CSR initiative, volunteering across two days for St Vincent de Paul in one of their holiday centres – Kerdiffstown House.

PwCOver the course of the two days the interns worked to transform a dense wooded area on the Kerdiffstown estate into a peaceful woodland garden. Those staying in Kerdiffstown and availing of the excellent services provided there by SVP were delighted to see the transformation and many met with the interns, encouraging them along the way.
