Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Partnership with AHEAD
With nearly 8,000 students with disabilities in higher education in Ireland, it made perfect sense for Enterprise Rent-A-Car to partner more strategically with AHEAD. Through this partnership, Enterprise has benefited from the training, support and expertise provided as part of their WAM programme (Willing and Able Mentoring). More importantly, working with AHEAD has enabled us to hire some very dynamic graduates for our Management Training programme who previously may not have considered Enterprise as a career option. On September 19th, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is delighted to support WAM in an upcoming event on the Strategies & Resources for the recruitment of graduates with disabilities. The WAM programme has found that the the assessment component of recruitment can very often pose barriers for disabled applicants. The session promises to be both engaging and interactive and will provide expert advice to companies on such topics:
- How to test applicants with a disability legally
- Planning for testing applicants with a disability
- The testing environment/the test centre & testing procedures
