March 2008: ACCA Ireland Sustainability Reporting Awards 2008
Now in their seventh year, the ACCA Ireland Sustainability Reporting Awards are calling for submissions for the 2008 Awards.
As in previous years, ACCA Ireland welcomes CSR, environmental, social and sustainability reports as well as annual reports and reviews.
Please note that you can submit any documentation produced since the last Awards cycle in September 2006.
The aims of these Awards are:
• to give recognition to those organisations which report and disclose environmental, social or full sustainability information
• to encourage the uptake of environmental, social and sustainability reporting
• to raise awareness of accountability and transparency issues.
ACCA Ireland welcomes environmental, social and sustainability reports as well as annual reports and reviews.
The winners of the Best Sustainability Report in the last Awards scheme was the Musgrave Group. Irish Life and Permanent plc and O2 Ireland, both members of Business in the Community Ireland, received commendations for their reports.
The closing date for submissions is 28 March 2008.
