February 2008: President's Awards for CSR - Call for Nominations

Nominations from companies are currently invited for the fifth annual Chambers Ireland's President's Awards for CSR, in partnership with Business in the Community Ireland, sponsored by resource and in association with the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. The awards aim to recognise the work being carried out by companies in Ireland in improving the lives of their employees and enhancing the civic environment in which they operate. This is a unique competition that offers the business community a chance to promote their efforts in CSR and gain recognition for best practice. The Categories A total of seventeen awards will be presented, with separate category of awards for SMEs, large indigenous and multinational corporations in Environmental, Community Workplace and Marketplace (Supplier and Customer) projects. Entering the Awards There are four award categories: 1. Community; 2. Environment; 3. Workplace; and 4. Marketplace (Supplier and Customer). Each applicant will also be automatically entered into our overall award categories • Best New and Innovative CSR Project • Outstanding Achievement in CSR Before filling out any application form it is advised that you read the notes which follow each application form in the application pack.
