Taskforce on Active Citizenship

The Taoiseach, Mr Bertie Ahern T.D, announced the membership of the Taskforce on Active Citizenship in April 2006. The Taskforce comprises 20 members and is chaired by Ms Mary Davis, CEO Special Olympics Ireland. The membership of the Taskforce represent a broad spectrum of interests and organisations across Ireland including young people, senior citizens, the arts, Irish language, education and public and private sectors.
