  • Our Partners
It is one of the most delightful aspects of our work that we get to be in partnership with fantastic people and organisations. BITCI work with a number of partners, they include:

Business in the Community NI is our sister organisation and we worked together in 2006 to host the first All Island CR Conference held at CHQ in Dublin.

Business in the Community UK is an extremely helpful and supportive partner. We owe BITC UK a huge debt of gratitude for allowing the BITCI brand to be used by us and developed with their support. They certainly lead the way by sharing their learning and experience with us.

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) has a sister organisation The Community Foundation for Ireland.

Chambers Ireland has been represented on our board since the inception of BITCI and we sit on their CSR Council. In 2006 we announced the partnership with Chambers Ireland on the President's Awards for Corporate Responsibility. In addition we are working together to develop a training programme on CR for smaller organisations focusing on Supply Chain issues.

CSR Europe is a network of organisations similar to BITCI from 22 countries in Europe. We play a significant role in this organisation and gain a lot of knowledge and contacts through this membership.

Business in the Community Ireland is a partner in the CSR360 Global Partner Network. CSR360 is a network of independent organisations, who work at the interface of Business and Society to mobilise business for good.

We partner Government through several Departments and its National Development Plan. One of the main Departments involved is the Department of Education and Science with the Schools' Business Partnership (SBP) programme.

We partner Government through several departments and its National Development Plan. One of the main departments involved is the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform in the Linkage and EPIC Programmes.

BITCI have collaborated with IBEC on raising awareness of Corporate Responsibility and in particular in the Environmental area.

The Small Firms Association has been an enthusiastic partner on the Linkage programme for several years.

The Taskforce on Active Citizenship was established to advise the Government on the steps that can be taken to ensure that the wealth of civic spirit and active participation already present in Ireland continues to grow and develop.

Volunteer Centres Ireland (VCI) is the representative body for the volunteer bureaux developing around the country. Through our corporate community involvement we link in with VCI as a conduit to network with a wide variety of community and voluntary groups.
